I am a Registered Play Therapist- Supervisor. For a decade, I have worked in the following areas: crisis counseling, inpatient psychiatric counseling, agency counseling, and private practice. My formal education has prepared me to counsel: children, adolescents, adults. I enjoy working with clients who have suffered emotional disturbances, trauma, abuse, and mental disorders. My passion is to use various techniques, activities, and modalities to best allow you to express your inner world.
I have years of experience working with adolescents and adults in inpatient psychiatric care and outpatient treatment. My specialty is play therapy with traumatized children who have suffered emotional/physical/neglect/ or sexual abuse. I work with several families who are going through divorce. I also work with many children suffering from anxiety disorders.
As a supervisor I have a team of interns who are passionate about children and families. We offer sliding scale. We also offer social skills groups, teen groups, and parenting groups to accommodate the whole family healing. Our passion is to educate, empower, and emotionally coach children.
