About

Are you hurting? Do you struggle daily with your addiction? Do you think you may be drinking too much, or has someone else been upset by your drinking, or other behavior? Are you lost about what to do about a loved one's addiction? I can help you understand your behaviors, and why you may be continuing to make the same decisions over and over again, expecting different results, and nothing ever changes. And, if nothing changes, nothing changes. I specialize in helping clients identify their destructive beliefs that are no longer useful to them, and how to replace them with more useful beliefs. I teach tapping to empower clients.
I teach clients the basics of tapping, FEFT, and how to aim for deep release of toxic, negative emotions from the body. My work comes mostly from the work of Robert G. Smith, John Bradshaw, Pia Mellody, Claudia Black, and Brene Brown. I also have borrowed many principles from 12-step programs(AA, Alanon, ACA) to help my clients better understand themselves.
I DO UNDERSTAND what you're going through. I have 34 years of recovery. I believe that Codependency, Enabling, Enmeshment, and Unexpressed Grief, are all spiritual illnesses, that contribute to the abuse/ dependence /"dis-ease" of alcoholism and drug addiction. These issues keep a person from growing and maturing into the person they were created to be.
