I work with women, queer, and trans people of all genders to love themselves and their bodies. Whether we meet individually, or in the context of a couple or relationship, it's my hope that our work leaves you feeling more free, alive, whole, and capable of having authentic connections with yourself, your body and others. Through our body-based or somatic work together, you will identify what truly matters to you and gain practicable skills that will help to align your actions with your vision for your life. To trust your body and yourself is your birthright.
My love for working with people who experience trauma, eating disorders, and issues around gender stems from the tremendous resilience and power I've see in you. There is so much wisdom in the ways you've found to survive. I want you to have more choice around that survival.
The decision to commit to healing and transformation is not easy. I'm here with you. I promise to hold you and our work with both love and rigor. If you're ready for more ease and more choice in your life, please visit my website to learn more and to schedule your first appointment.

Brooke Stepp's Groups

Wise Bodies

We live in a world steeped in diet and wellness culture that teaches us some bodies are valuable and desirable and others are not. It is easy to internalize these messages and develop relationships to food and body that are less than choiceful. We could also say the behaviors that come with our troubled relationship with food and body are incredibly wise in a fatphobic & oppressive culture. In fact, they have probably helped us to survive. ?In this highly experiential 12 week somatic healing group we will practice together to understand, feel, and heal toward this embodied wisdom. Apply today!

Trauma and the Body: A Somatic Healing Group

In this highly experiential 12 week group, you will have the opportunity to deeply explore the ways that trauma has disconnected you from your body and from yourself. Our work will involve deep sharing, engaged somatic practices, and witnessing one another in our processes of healing and transformation. You will get to re-author your narrative about yourself and the world while connecting deeply to what matters most to you. You will leave our time together with a deep sense of connection to yourself, to others, and with compassion and love for the ways that you've survived.
