Over the last 18 years I have specialized in treating clients struggling with substance use and trauma. I have spent the majority of my career working in treatment facilities that address substance use whether they were residential, extended care or outpatient and I enjoy working with those who report concerns related to their use of a substance(s) and report other "underlying concerns" such as a history of trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, etc. I've been trained in EMDR and spent several years working with young adults, women, and even professionals. Codependency and family work is also an area of expertise of mine.
I focus my work with Clients on establishing goals that are unique to them and our sessions are built around those goals. We will focus on increasing desires for change and explore any and all aspects of their lives that may hinder the Client's ability to change long term. I am comfortable modifying my therapeutic approach to meet the needs of the Client.

Groups
Outpatient Treatment Groups
We are currently offering a wide variety of outpatient substance use groups including gender specific and trauma informed. All of these groups are currently two hours each and occur on a weekly basis. Depending on the specific group, the treatment duration is anywhere from 15 - 32 weeks and all based on assessment and individual need. Examples include Helping Men Recover, Helping Women Recover, Mindfulness Based Sobriety (a Relapse Prevention Group), etc. Call for further details.

Intensive Outpatient Dual Diagnosis Treatment
Our Intensive Outpatient Program includes 11 hours of therapy a weekly basis (3 - 3 hour group sessions weekly plus weekly individual counseling sessions). Call for further details.
