Healing begins when a safe space is created and your concerns are validated. This is accomplished by building trust and rapport in a client-centered environment. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to your well-being. As a result, I adapt to the unique challenges presented to find the best treatment modality which will foster growth and satisfaction in your life. Techniques I use to enhance the therapeutic environment include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness techniques.
Therapy should be a collaborative process whereby strengths are identified and you feel capable to tackle the issues at hand. I use a creative, strengths-based approach to identify areas that have created hurdles that interrupt your life.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families.
