About
Through psychotherapy, every person has the capacity to grow and change and live the life they’ve always imagined. I can help you recognize and alter patterns in your life, develop new skills to enhance your relationships with family, friends, and partners, and move toward greater joy and personal fulfillment. I specialize in treating individuals and couples with issue of anxiety & depression, low self-esteem, postpartum depression, parenting issues, sexual & physical abuse, domestic violence, trauma, and work-related stress. I also specialize in working with women who are in unhappy marriages and are contemplating divorce.
As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I also provide sex-positive sex therapy with individuals and couples. I am excited to offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based brief therapy using rapid eye movements to heal PTSD, phobias, depression, and anxiety. For more information, visit http://acceleratedresolutiontherapy.com/
My goal as a psychotherapist is to provide a safe and supportive environment in which counterproductive patterns of behavior are examined within the therapeutic relationship. Patients often describe me as "warm, empathic, interactive, and direct." If you feel "stuck" in your life, therapy might be for you.
