Hi there, I'm Brooke! Hello! My name is Brooke Anderson and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). We live in a time of heightened uncertainty and vulnerability and it is easy to lose footing amidst all this. As well, it can be difficult to navigate one’s emotions and psyche with all that is coming at you; therapy is one way that I encourage individuals to better understand their mental health and seek a path to increased ease and wellness.
As a therapist, I use a person-centered approach with a belief that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and wellness. I have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, psychosis, and complicated grief.
In my experience, an essential component when working together toward one's mental health and wellness is the therapeutic rapport between client and therapist. That said, it is my hope that clients feel safe and heard during each session, and welcome any feedback from clients if they are not feeling safe/supported so that we can adjust therapy approaches.
