About
Many clients need support with life stressors, anxiety, depression, identity issues, and exploration. Folks can struggle with accessing coping skills that ground and support them in their struggles. My focus in counseling is for clients to be seen, have their voices heard, and overcome obstacles to be their authentic selves. I understand that feelings of hopelessness, uncertainty, and frustration are challenging and cause significant turbulence in one's life. I am the collaborative co-pilot, working with clients to navigate their own lives to meet their social and emotional goals. We discover ways to enhance their life's journey.
I make counseling accessible, relatable, and engaging. I reference pop culture often and use metaphors in sessions with clients. My clients work to create achievable, concrete goals for themselves to feel empowered. We embark on a unique counseling journey together. Clients work to understand their emotions and comprehend their reactions to their feelings.
I am open and affirming of all sexualities and gender identities. I strive to provide advocacy and a comfortable, affirming environment for anyone who seeks my services. Let's explore how to meet your own needs, continue to find who you are, and become confident in your self-discovery. I look forward to getting to know you and beginning this work together!
