Perhaps you are experiencing depressive symptoms, excessive anxiety, difficulty in relationships, navigating major changes or loss, or finding that you engage in self-defeating behaviors. If you are looking to feel more connected to yourself and others, to make changes within yourself that will increase your resiliency and your satisfaction with life, then finding a therapist that is a good fit for you can make all the difference.
My approach to therapy is deeply relational and experiential. Along with my formal education and licensure, I am in core training in an Experiential Dynamic Therapy (EDT) called Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). For those with substance use issues or addiction, I have additional training and licensure to help address those concerns.
Some people have done therapy before and are looking for something different. For others, this may be your first time considering therapy and there can be a lot of mixed feelings about engaging in therapy. I am committed to providing an open and non-judgmental space so you can work through your conflicts in order to help you achieve the life you want.
