About
As a second-generation Asian American woman, I am passionate about mental health needs specific to the Asian American Pacific Islander community. I am a doctoral candidate in counseling psychology and my clinical training is in treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), perfectionism, or anxiety; my goal is to help my client understand the role of cultural influences on perfectionism, and to help them gain freedom from OCD and/or perfectionistic thought patterns. I provide evidenced-based therapy that is tailored to the individual needs of my clients, while using a multiculturally-informed approach.
I understand the amount of courage it takes to see a therapist and I aim to make my clients feel seen, validated, and cared for. Having been through my own therapy, I firmly believe that therapy is a healing, liberating, and transformative experience.
