I have particular experience working with anxiety-related disorders, including OCD, social anxiety, and specific phobias. I also have training and experience using exposure and response prevention (ERP), which has been especially meaningful in helping patients reduce avoidance and build confidence in tolerating distress. I’ve found success supporting individuals as they work through intrusive thoughts, fear-based thinking patterns, and compulsive behaviors, helping them move toward a more values-based, flexible way of living.
I also have experience working with people impacted by trauma, domestic violence, and substance use, as well as individuals within medical settings, including oncology-related care, which has strengthened my understanding of the emotional and psychological impact of serious illness.
I want patients to know that I’m a real person who shows up fully in the room with you. Starting therapy can be one of the hardest steps, and I have a lot of respect for the courage it takes just to begin.
