Therapy is a team effort between the client and the therapist, but in my office, you as the client will always be in the driver's seat. I treat both children and adults and offer individual and family sessions.
I start with a comprehensive evaluation of strengths and needs and work with each client to develop individual treatment goals. In every step of the therapeutic process, I utilize a trauma-informed approach and let the client determine the pace. I know it can be really hard to say out loud that you need or want help.
