As a child psychologist I work with many children who struggle with a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. It is vital to address these challenges early in a child’s development and to provide individualized treatment, tailored to the needs of the child and the family. Therapy will offer your child the opportunity to express their concerns, understand their emotions, and develop coping skills. In my work with adolescents I aim to help them to find balance between their emerging independence and their ongoing reliance on the adults in their lives.
Adolescence is a time of incredible change, which includes managing school work, relationships, sexuality and identity. I work with adolescents to develop healthier coping strategies in their lives and build a life that is both meaningful and fulfilling. *I provide affirming clinical services to LGBTQ+ children, adolescents and their families.*
I work closely and collaboratively with parents to help improve their understanding of their child’s unique developmental needs, and offer you the ability to utilize tools to improve interactions and balance for the whole family. My goal is to help families restore a sense of balance and lead more emotionally fulfilling lives.
