Hello! I am a bi, poly, kinky sex therapist who is incredibly passionate about education and providing therapy to marginalized communities. As an eclectic sex therapist for couples, non-monogamous groups, and individuals, there are many approaches that may come up throughout the therapeutic journey. I have borrowed from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral techniques, Person-Centered approaches, Attachment Theory, Systemic views, and more. As a bi, polyam person, I am incredibly passionate about education for queer communities and polyamorous acceptance.
As a therapist and doctoral student I have been dedicated to learning about and advocating against past harmful practices. I know that the therapeutic profession has often been harmful and dismissive of people who held queer, trans, poly, kinky, and other marginalized identities. I aim to give space for all people to feel included and comfortable in therapy.
I believe our experiences connecting with others is what makes life both meaningful and just plain fun. Humor is a staple in working with me, and I encourage people to feel they can discuss the “uncomfortable” topics of sex, kink, race, trauma, and whatever else you want to bring into the room.
