I believe that PLAY is for everyone and I love incorporating play therapy techniques into my sessions with clients of all ages. I specialize in children, adolescents and young adults who have experienced or witnessed interpersonal violence (sexual assault, child sexual abuse, domestic violence). I am also an enthusiastic advocate for children/adolescents of color in their explorations of race, privilege, representation, and identity.
Play Therapy is a way of allowing children/adolescents to "play out their feelings" instead of asking them to directly speak about it. I believe that it is one of the most effective ways to work with children and adolescents.
I believe that parents are the experts on their children, and I strive to partner with families on their journey. I look forward to hearing from you!
