As a Licensed Social Worker and advocate for systemic change, Brittany understands the importance of children and youth having one supportive adult in their life to contribute to their positive development, while improving mental health and building essential life skills of resilience.
Growing up in a low-income household, she developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable children, youth and families, fueling her passion for this work. Brittany has overcome many adversities in her own life that contributed to her resiliency.
Brittany’s radically inclusive practice is grounded in mutual respect, humanness, collaboration and authenticity. Brittany uses a combination of modalities to include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and psychoeducation.
Brittany works part-time offering weekend availability to all children and youth.
In a full-time capacity, Brittany works with child protective services in a separate role. To avoid conflicts, she is unable to work with any current or past known clients or clients with open CPS cases. Brittany is required to refer these clients to another therapist.
