I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have ten years of experience working in the mental health field. I am passionate about serving and providing mental health care to my home state of West Virginia. I offer in person sessions, walk and talks along the rail trail, and virtual connections. My location is based out of Unbound Counseling, LLC in Morgantown.
I am certified as a Clinical Service Provider to support individuals with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I use a collaborative, strength-based approach, applying evidence based practices to empower and educate my clients.
Some of my favorite treatment modalities are psychodynamic therapy, attachment-based, ACT, and nervous-system/trauma informed. I engage in sessions with a person-centered lens, believing in my client's expertise in their own experiences. Together, we create a space and capacity for growth.
I strive to assist my clients in navigating through the healing process. To me, this means meeting the client where they are within their particular journey. Having a safe and comforting environment is ideal for this process. I aim to assess my client's needs, and I am aware these needs change overtime.
