My name is Brittany Sherman and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I work with teens to adults that struggle with various issues and specialize in trauma. I help by facilitating a safe environment wherein you can feel comfortable and empowered while processing issues that you need support with. There are times when I will challenge you and growth will feel uncomfortable. Please rest assured I do this with empathy and care so that you can be supported while processing difficult issues.
I understand that so many people in the world have experienced significant struggles. These struggles might be small and personal, or related to the larger social environment. When we’ve gone through hurtful struggles, they often affect us by making us feel weak, alone, and helpless. That’s why I offer a safe, judgment-free space where you can feel heard.
I understand what it's like to struggle and feel overwhelmed with finding a therapist. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions for me or if you would like to have a conversation with me to see if you feel comfortable talking with me. It is important to have a therapist that you feel is the right fit for you.
