Welcome! As a cis-gender queer woman, I spent the beginning of my career specializing in gender affirming therapy. I am currently focusing on LGBTQ+ affirming therapy and supporting cis spouses, family members, and loved ones of transgender and gender diverse individuals, through a gender specialized lens. I primarily work with adolescents, traditional and non-traditional relationship structures, and young adults. Therapy is focused on working through varying topics like interpersonal conflict, day-to-day stressors, gender exploration, and past trauma.
I work through a person centered and affirmative lens. This means that I’m here to hold supportive space for you, and offer understanding for your experiences, while challenging you towards the growth you are seeking. I bring principles of neuroscience, the study of the brain, into the humanity of counseling
I believe that the client is the expert of themselves. I am here to hold space, provide support, build skills, process stressors, challenge unhealthy coping mechanisms, and provide insight. I am neurodivergent affirming, kink affirming, and affirming of non-traditional relationship structures.
