About
Most come to therapy for relief from distress. While therapy can relieve this, it can also be the gateway to deeper self reflection & discovery that awakens new meaning in our lives. I strive to build a therapy that honors your unique preferences & personhood, focused on the power of exploring your own experiences, strengths, & values. I am passionate about challenging the systemic oppressions that do us harm, and creating compassionate practices of resistance in response. My specialties are in facilitating connection in relationship, cultivating radical self acceptance, & growing trust in both mind & body.
Throughout our work together, I aim to make space for humor & joy in times of struggle — why do the hard labor of healing if we aren’t feeling some of the good stuff along the way? My approach engages the shared power of mind & body to create new experiences of safety and connection. We all deserve to feel more ease, pleasure, and rest there!
I recognize that it can be challenging to find a therapy that is both fully affirming of who and where we are, & truly effective in moving us where we wish to go. I invite you to reach out to see if we might be a good fit for the support you seek; I promise to share my most authentic, energetic self as we collaborate towards the change you desire.
