Hi! I'm Brittany Nicholson and I hold an NY Mental Health Counseling license. I conduct my sessions with a strength - based approach. I believe there is no one size fits all approach to mental health therefore I utilize a variety of techniques such as Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, Narrative therapy, and Psychoanalysis. I support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, trauma, and life transitions. With a warm, yet affirming approach I create a judgment-free space that will help you build your emotional intelligence, challenge distorted thoughts, and encourage critical thinking.
I guide and encourage all of my clients to be fully engaged in the goal-setting process. Think of me as your personal cheerleader where we will identify patterns and replace them with healthier ones.
