My approach to therapy is eclectic- with an effort to combine aspects of ACT, DBT, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy and Motivational Interviewing with yoga, art, and breathwork as they best serve you. I believe in therapy as a dual process- where you as the client are the expert in your own lived experience- and I serve to help guide you through the steps of change and provide new tools, strategies, and insights. Together we can identify goals, thought patterns, or behaviors that are not serving you, and engage in the development of coping mechanisms that you can utilize when feeling anxious, dysregulated, or triggered.
I employ a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens. Whatever you have experienced, however big or small it might be- is real and valid. I can not know what it is like to experience exactly what you have experienced. I will hold space for you, and invite you to engage in grounding and safety work with me. I want you to feel safe in your body, in your life.
Whether you are exploring your gender identity, looking to develop techniques to manage your anxiety, or searching for ways to get through the day after experiencing something life changing, I'd like to accompany you on your journey towards change, and ultimately, self acceptance.

My primary focus is working with clients who have experienced trauma, which can be defined in many ways as every client's experience of trauma is different. In doing this work, I reinforce client autonomy, employ cognitive reframing, share grounding techniques & coping mechanisms, and focus on core beliefs. We also engage in identity work where clients explore and expand upon their sense of self.
