I have worked with individuals with various concerns, including addiction, grief, ADHD, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, trauma, personality disorders, relationship issues and disordered eating. I am especially interested in working with issues related to trauma and addiction. I am trained in various trauma modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I completed a 60 hour somatic attachment certificate course. I take an eclectic approach to counseling and tailor the sessions to the client's needs. I take a client-centered, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to counseling.
I am dedicated to helping college students (both traditional and non-traditional), young adults, and older adults learn additional coping skills, process unresolved trauma, set and accomplish goals, and build the life that they want to have.
I offer virtual counseling sessions, so you can be in counseling from the comfort of your own home. I also offer walk and talk therapy sessions if you live in the Charlotte area. I offer a free fifteen-minute consultation, so please feel free to reach out if you are interested in learning more.
