Wondering if it is the baby blues or something more? Not feeling that "instant connection" that you are told comes with being a mother? I'd love to help navigate these feelings with you and work towards understanding them together. Pregnancy and motherhood can be lonely at times, especially coupled with infertility or loss. I'd be honored to be able to support you during any emotional stress you are experiencing. These experiences are not always limited to moms and I offer a safe space for dads to process the change and confusion that can come with this phase of life as well.
My area of specialty is perinatal mental health. I received my PMH-C through Perinatal Support International in 2021. We don’t always feel that “instant connection” we expect when becoming a parent. I have been serving individuals from all walks of life since 2012. I am trained in CBT, perinatal mental health, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy. I'm experienced with perinatal mood disorders, pregnancy loss, infertility, anxiety, and depression. I enjoy meeting my clients where they're at and helping to enhance their quality of life.
