About
My name is Brittany, and I have a decade of experience helping folx develop a sense of inner strength and safety, and stabilizing mental health symptoms. My clients are eager to learn about setting boundaries, effective communication, making safer choices, and learning how to cope with daily life. Many of my clients are new to therapy, or have had a hard time finding a good fit therapist in the past. Others are therapists themselves. Folx I work with often have big hearts, but trouble relying on others because they've been burned too many times in the past. Familiar? I also have a special interest in serving my LGBTQIA+ community.
A commitment to therapy is a commitment to you. Together we will explore new ways to confidently move through your day to day. My compassion focused, trauma informed approach is structured at first; offering educational materials with questions and guided discussions to help us get to know each other, and learn about new skills and tools.
Reaching out can be hard, but you've made it this far, so send me a message and we can see if we're a good fit! I have a comfy office in Fox Chapel with plenty of free parking.
