Do you struggle with feeling like you are "too much" or you cannot fully express your emotional states? Do you feel you have to hide parts of you to be seen as "good"?
I created my private practice for individuals with multiple intersectionalities to be one in which you are fully seen. My goal is to empower BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals throughout different stages of life; exploring ways to return back to your innermost strengths to become your happiest, most authentic version of self. As a queerLatinx therapist I bring cultural understanding around topics like machismo, emotional suppression, shame, colorism, and fetishization.
I deeply understand what it’s like to navigate the process of being BIPOC, multicultural, and queer, with a family that is deeply catholic in a patriarchal world. I utilize metaphor, humor, and continual gentle challenging throughout sessions which will allow you to develop insight, release feelings of shame, guilt, and learn to trust your inner intuition.
I help clients tap into their strengths to become their most empowered and genuine versions of self. Whether you are at the beginning or middle of your career, adjusting to life transitions, or wanting to strengthen your self-confidence and trust, I can support you. In our sessions together you will find that I bring a mixture of warmth, wit, and validation.
