Every emotion, thought, or feeling we experience is valid and has the potential to impact our lives. Feeling intense emotions can be difficult to process and at times we need to seek clarity for what we are experiencing. I view therapy as a team effort with you as the expert of your own life. Together we will define the problem(s) and work to create real and meaningful change. I will provide you with knowledge, skills, and support along your journey in addition to a warm, nurturing, and judgement free environment. Every person is unique and I will provide you with a tailored approach to each therapy session.
I work from a trauma informed perspective that incorporates CBT, gestalt, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, crisis intervention, and PTSD. I work with adolescents, adults, and elderly persons. I am allied with LGBTQIA, BiPOC, and Veteran communites.
Life is about creating meaningful connections and becoming our authentic selfs, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you strengthen your inner voice and grow into your true self. You are worthy. You matter.
