I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that offers individual psychotherapy in a small private practice in Houston, TX. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, and relationship difficulties. Much of the work I strive to do with clients involves a reflective, curious, and compassionate stance as we explore experiences, strengths, and challenges. By identifying assumptions, expectations, thought patterns, and exploring previous experiences we are better able to make changes that lead to a more balanced and healthy relationship with ourselves as well as others.
My therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Additionally, I am trained in Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD.
