When I was eight years old, I remember begging my mother to let me start an advice column in the local newspaper. She did not, but that never stopped me from listening to my friends around me and trying to help them solve their problems. I knew I wanted to turn this into a career!
In learning about what therapists do, I knew this was the right move for me! While therapists aren’t advice givers, I absolutely love being a soundboard for individuals and helping them live their best lives; lives they often never thought they could live.
