I believe we all have a path and purpose in life. Sometime we need help to overcome obstacles that block our way. I counsel all people, but I specialize in working with those who wish to explore their relationship with drugs and/or alcohol and their supports, survivors of sexual assault or trauma, and life transitions. At the heart of my practice is a genuine care for others, authenticity, and a little humor. I use Person-centered approaches, Mindfulness based techniques, and evidence-based modalities like CBT.
I use these approaches with the intent of helping people become aware, facilitate change, and achieve personal growth. One of the hardest parts of therapy is making that first call. You’re realizing that something needs to change in your life or maybe you’ve been thinking about therapy for a while.
It can feel difficult to find the right therapist, especially when you’re feeling down or lost. I believe you deserve to feel heard, held, and empowered. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and North Carolina, serving clients in both states.
