I provide trauma-informed integrative care to individuals with a history of trauma, childhood trauma, neglect, and/or abuse, PTSD, C-PTSD, traumatic grief, and intergenerational trauma. As a whole, I work with individuals who come into therapy with a specific goal to address anxiety, mood, or ADHD symptoms to improve daily functioning. During our work, we often find that there is an undiagnosed, misdiagnosed, or unattended history of trauma that compounds mental health symptoms and overall functioning. We work to address symptoms and stabilize functioning through evidence-based interventions, along with process-based therapy.
I am a psychotherapist specializing in trauma-informed care and integrative therapies. I utilize EMDR and other bottom-up approaches such as somatic, polyvagal, and IFS-informed therapy for trauma and trauma-related disorders. I am clinically trained in classical psychoanalysis, brief psychodynamic interventions, CBT, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
One of the most important aspects of therapy that I emphasize with my clients is building a strong therapeutic relationship that includes radically open communication, rapport building, and trust-affirming practices from our first session to our last. It is important to our work that you feel heard, seen, and supported during this process.
