Are you lookin' for a therapist who can be both direct and gentle? Someone who can encourage and challenge you? Look no further! My top priority is to empower my clients to empower themselves. I believe everyone is capable of being their own hero, but that, simultaneously, everyone deserves to have access to a safe, unbiased space to talk about hard things. Healing can be messy and uncomfortable at times, which is where my love for a good laugh often comes into play. If you’re someone who copes with humor, I just might be the therapist for you; your sarcasm, dark humor, and foul language are all welcome here!
I have an eclectic, person-centered approach, which means I use concepts from a number of methods to best fit each client in order to meet them where they're at. I'm passionate about working with individuals to help them process and cope with difficult emotions, thus leading them to adjust to their "normal." I'm not your typical, blank-slate therapist!
Life truly does suck sometimes, but that doesn't mean you have to do it alone. I'm not a genie in a bottle or The Fairly OddParents, I don't have a magic "fix it" button, nor have I ever had luck that placed a winning lottery ticket in my hand.
