Brittany Boveť Schwartz, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Torrance
Sometimes life, our feelings, our minds can become overwhelming. Many of us have been through things that make it difficult to understand our own thoughts and actions. My vast experience with a broad spectrum of human challenges has led me to develop a keen intuition. I strive to connect with my clients' inner world. Many clients tell me that they feel like I am "the first person that really understands" them. Working together, I will endeavor to accurately conceptualize the various aspects of your life in order to increase self awareness and maximize personal growth.
I'm a solution-focused and strength-based therapist specializing in couples/family therapy, and relationship challenges. I also excel in working with teens and adults on the Autism Spectrum. I offer guidance and support while providing the structure needed to achieve emotional well-being through difficult life circumstances.
If you should choose to work with me, you can expect a warm, friendly, nonjudgmental, compassionate, and supportive environment. I tend to be fairly direct and intuitive, so we will likely be exploring areas of your life and mind that may be a little uncomfortable. But it is worth it!
