I know that the hardest step in seeking help is finding the energy to sign up or admitting that you are ready to make a change or be uncomfortable in your vulnerability. Change is difficult but change is the only constant that I can guarantee that occurs every day. No matter what you are experiencing it is not too small or too big, because at the end of the day you are the only one in your mind/body experiencing whatever presenting problem you have and I am here to help, guide, foster, and process with you. Failure is okay and sometimes is the only place that we can truly learn and grow from that experience.
In our first session, I like to talk about how sessions will go, learn some background of what has been going on. I like to say that your life is puzzle pieces on the floor and we are working together to put it "back together" with coping skills as the invisible tape. It may not look the same as it use to but that is okay.
I am ready to work with anyone but it does help if you are ready and willing to talk, it doesn't matter if we jump around, but ideally this only works when you are open and ready to communicate in sessions.
