Over the past four years, I’ve made the transition from nursing to Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a journey that’s been both transformative and deeply rewarding. While the path has brought many changes and challenges, it has also been a time of meaningful growth. Nursing will always be a part of who I am, but above all, I remain committed to being a lifelong learner and healer. Healing comes in many forms and is not a one size fits all. It doesnt always look like a dramatic breakthrough or a single “aha” moment.
Sometimes, healing is subtle and quiet- it’s setting boundaries, forgiving yourself, choosing rest, or even asking for help. Healing has always fascinated me- not just the physical healing that I have witnessed as a nurse, but the emotional healing that happens beneath the surface.
Naturally, becoming a therapist feels like a natural extension of my desire to walk with people through their most human experiences- their most difficult times. I want to create a space where individuals, couples, and families can feel seen, heard, and supported- especiallly in the moments when life feels overwhelming.
