I am a skilled and empathetic counselor with over 18 years of experience. I work with a wide variety of clients from the very young to the very experienced. My clients are people who have been struggling, often through many failed attempts, to get their life back on the path they want. I help my clients find their own, unique way to overcome the challenges they are facing be it depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or unexpected changes in life circumstances. I help my clients find their footing and forge their own path towards the future they choose.
Beginning counseling can be an intimidating process. I strive to make my clients feel at ease and comfortable as we get to know each other. I approach the session in a conversational manner and to better understand what brought my clients to counseling.
I approach counseling from an eclectic perspective. This allows me to tailor treatment to my clients specific needs in a more targeted manner. My base approach to counseling is a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused brief therapy.
