About
It is not always easy to check in with ourselves. And when we do, the most common question is, “Is this a safe space?” As your therapist, I take pride in cultivating safe spaces to process whatever comes up for you. I enjoy working with African American Women and Men struggling with stress management, anxiety, mindfulness, and self-esteem challenges because these are areas that require intentionality, and as minor as they may seem, can have a major impact on how we navigate the world.
Healing is a collaborative endeavor that requires honest caring without judgment, and I cooperatively assist my clients in clarifying their goals. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, I draw from various methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation.
I am a Licensed Counselor in the state of Texas. I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am warm, open, encouraging, and direct. This experience may seem like a marathon at the start, but I look forward to joining you on your wellness journey. Please visit my website to submit a new client request.
