Queer Idenity Skills for Living and Becoming
Roots & Routes is a structured therapeutic group for LGBTQ+ and questioning individuals exploring identity, navigating coming out, or healing from stigma and trauma. The group builds emotional regulation, boundary-setting, and self-compassion skills in a supportive environment. Drawing from trauma-informed care, narrative therapy, somatic grounding, and resilience theory, sessions include grounding, teaching, guided practice, and reflection. Participants learn to notice internalized stigma, communicate needs clearly, and make empowered identity choices. By the end, members carry a personalized resilience toolkit rooted in self-trust, agency, and belonging. Virtual and Medicaid accepted.
