My goal as a therapist is to help children, teens, adults, and families make positive and lasting change in their lives. By exploring counseling services for yourself or a loved one, you are already making steps toward that positive change. I aim to create a safe and welcoming environment for people from all walks of life where growth can happen. Using your own unique strengths and combining them with new tools, we will work together towards goals that you wish to accomplish.
I use a variety of evidence based techniques, frequently drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), creative, and play-based approaches. I have several years experience as a school counselor and am versed in school challenges and systems.
Building a trusting and positive therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is essential to progress. Please reach out via email or phone so we can talk more and see if I would be a good fit for you.
