As a mental health therapist, I believe in empowering clients to become aware of their own healthy/unhealthy thinking and behavior so, in return, they can implement positive lifestyle changes. Collaboration between the client and myself is used to guide the client in redefining their own way of life. Clients should know that this sometimes can be a short or lengthy process but I am willing to walk all the way with them as they develop their new healthy self. Clients should know that they are never alone in this new journey...
My counseling experiences includes working with children from ages 6 to adolescents, adults, couples, families, and veterans. I use a variety of treatment modalities and tailor them to meet your unique and specific needs. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focus CBT, DBT-Mindfulness, Solution-Focus Brief Therapy, and Spiritual Counseling.
My goal is to meet you where you are and help you develop lifestyle changes that will promote your overall growth and wellness. My counseling approach is without judgement, interactive, and filled with respect and compassion. I look forward to working with you and helping you define your “best you”!
