Through Empathy, Warmth and Compassion... I Welcome You! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Perinatal Mental Health Certified Professional who is passionately dedicated to the field of perinatal mental health. I am an active member of Postpartum Support International, with training in clinical practices for the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I embrace a person-centered approach and will tailor our work together based upon your individual goals for therapy.
The perinatal period is a deeply transformative time, and while we hear of the many anticipatory joys, what about unforeseen symptoms, emotional experiences, as well as hormonal and biochemical changes? Together, we will create space for you to navigate the sources of your distress and work towards resilience, strength, self-compassion and grace.
You are not alone... Early detection and treatment of anxious or depressive symptoms that may arise during the perinatal period is vitally important to one's emotional health and well-being. You deserve to experience all the joys of becoming a parent. It is my hope to offer support throughout your journey, and with help you can feel well.
