Hi! I'm so glad you are here! One of the best things about being a therapist is the opportunity to empower you, to make you feel strong and heard, and to give you the tools to excel. I want you to feel welcomed and open to communicating feelings and emotions. I strive to provide you comfort and safety and be the listening ear you need. My job is not to judge you or let preconceived notions or beliefs hinder progression, but rather uplift you and set a positive foundation for a healthy therapeutic relationship. Together, we will use therapeutic styles to rework negative thinking and explore emotions and feelings.
I work with a wide variety of ages, from young children into late adulthood. I have specialized experience in working with mood disorders, as well as with adolescent behavioral issues (such as conduct disorders). With children, I utilize specific play therapy techniques to allow children to communicate the best way they know how... through PLAY!
