About
Briea is an enthusiastic and compassionate therapist whose values are rooted in holistic wellness. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University and now practices as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and has training in trauma-informed yoga. Briea has over seven years of experience working in multiple levels of care.
Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and addictions. She has developed an approach which consists of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) and Motivational Interviewing.
Briea has passion for the work she does with her clients and believes it is a privilege to witness the journey of others. Briea is assertive and validating which plays an active role in her therapy work. She is mindful that not every story is the same, so she approaches each relationship with curiosity, empathy, and warmth. Briea is excited to work with you!
