Hi, my name is Bridgit Sims. I provide mental health therapy to clients in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Although I treat a range of mental health concerns my primary area of proficiency is neurodivergence. As an autistic person with ADHD, I am passionate about supporting and working with other neurodivergent individuals. I strive to help my clients develop greater confidence, authenticity and self-awareness while they work towards their goals. My aim is to provide a space where my clients feel seen, heard, accepted, supported and understood. My approach is casual, non-judgmental and collaborative.
I provide a casual and comfortable approach to therapy that is personalized to best support you. I utilize a variety of modalities and therapeutic interventions to most effectively help you meet your goals whether that is processing trauma, goal setting, emotion regulation, navigating relationships, confidence building, developing communication skills etc.
My approach to therapy is collaborative. Together, we will find ways to empower you to make the change you want while you develop greater self-awareness and confidence. We will focus on your natural strengths while addressing the goals you set. I see therapy as a journey we’ll take together. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
