Adolescent DBT group
This is a 6 hour DBT skill building group for adolescents, ages 12 to 18 years of age. This group teaches dialectical behavioral therapy or DBT skills paired with equine assisted learning, allowing participants to learn skills and practice them with the horses for deeper learning opportunities. Participants will focus on Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Cost is $300/participant. Saturday, June 5th 10a to 4p
Children and Horses Achieving Together ages 5 -10
A 4 Week program for children ages 5-10 years The goals of this program are to improve self esteem, problem solving, communication, recognizing emotions, self regulation & coping strategies in a fun and child friendly approach to learning from what works. This will be a 50 minute group and will run for 4 weeks. Cost is $25 per day, $100 total/participant. 4 person minimum, 10 person maximum. Monday's at 4p: April 30, May7, 14, 21
Equine Assisted Anxiety Group
This group is a 4 hour group focusing on identifying, tolerating, and managing anxiety through cognitive behavioral therapy, paired with equine assisted therapy. Participants will learn what anxiety is and feels like, identify triggers, and how to manage unhelpful thoughts and beliefs. No horse experience is necessary. Ages 12 to 18.
