About
I have been working as a therapist for fifteen years. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, managed treatment programs and provided supervision to other clinicians in the field. I have worked with individuals facing a variety of issues including substance dependency, depression, anxiety, chronic mental illness, family and marriage issues. My area of specialty includes working with women and men who suffer from depression, anxiety, PSTD as a result of a medical conditions such as cancer; children/ adolescents with depression and anxiety, emotional regulation and behavioral/conduct challenges, and ADHD.
Through my training and years in practice, I have become experienced in art of psycho-dynamic, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy, and client centered therapies. As a cancer survivor, I bring both my personal and professional experience in supporting you as to maneuvering through this life altering experience.
I strive to create a safe environment that allows for the exploration of both past and present events that hold you back from attaining your dreams. I believe, therapy is a process that encourages insight about self. While it can be a difficult journey laughter helps us along the way.
