Bridget utilizes multi-modal interventions, including psychodynamic and relational approaches, to increase clients' insight and awareness. She also uses motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy techniques to help clients formulate and meet their goals.
Bridget's primary goal as a therapist is to create a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients. (Co-Ed Students 17-25 yo): A confidential support group for these entering college or university who struggle with anxiety, relationship building, academic stress, and coping with life transitions. (Most insurance accepted * Please note, clients are not required to be attending individual therapy at Nassau Psychology, PC in order to participate in group therapy. A one time intake evaluation is required prior to being admitted into group therapy to ensure we are a good fit for the client's needs.)
