My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming. My primary focus is working with autistic and other neurodivergent children (age 3 and up), teens, and young adults as they navigate a world that can be confusing and complex. I also work with individuals with anxiety, depression, sensory processing differences, executive functioning challenges, and divergent ways of communicating and socializing. In particular, I have significant experience supporting teens and young adults as they transition to adulthood, helping them navigate this daunting but exciting time in their lives.
I provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I utilize child-centered play therapy, sandtray therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and narrative therapy during my sessions, adapting to the unique needs and preferences of each client. I actively work to ensure that my practice is accessible and welcoming to all individuals.
I view therapy as an opportunity to identify each client's existing strengths and develop ways to utilize these strengths to confront life's transitions and challenges. All ways of thinking and being should be celebrated, and I strive to create an environment where our differences are honored and respected.
