In my clinical work I strive to foster a therapeutic relationship in which you can feel supported, understood, and safe to share, heal, and grow. I approach my work with curiosity, genuineness, and empathy. I am committed to ending harmful intergenerational cycles. I see clients as existing within systems that perpetuate marginalization, social problems, and harm. I believe in the power of connection and human relationships, and have a true passion for helping others. I value humor, honesty, and direct communication. All of my work is grounded in fat-liberation, identify-affirming, anti-oppression, and trauma-informed perspectives.
I work with: clients who identify as fat and want to process the trauma of anti-fat bias, heal their relationship with their bodies, and unlearn diet-culture; living with chronic pain/chronic illness, survivors of sexual assault, abuse and/or trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, gender identity, self-esteem and self-acceptance. I am certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy.
My practice is influenced by approaches such as person-centered, strengths-based, mindfulness, and neuropsychology. I currently offer telehealth sessions and am accepting new adult clients.
