Hi there! Seeing the human spirit overcome challenges and thrive is my passion. The approach I embrace is holistic, strength-based and integrative. I work through a trauma-informed lens and my focus is to assist individuals in increasing psychological flexibility and building resilience through authenticity, compassion and empowerment. As a therapist, my orientation is client-centered, positive and strength based. Some of my favorite modalities are CBT (CPT & ACT), MI and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I like to integrate these approaches based on my client's issues, needs and what is most comfortable and effective for them.
As a Veteran of the Armed Forces and still fully embracing the code of “No one left behind”. I fully welcome, and have an infinity for, those who serve others such as Veterans, active-duty members, and first responders. I also have experience working with individuals on the Autism spectrum and issues they face as well as challenges caregivers experience.
